Q: What time are your classes? Do I need to book a place for the class?
A: Please click here. You don't have to book a space in the class, just turn up.
Q: How much does the class cost?
A: The classes costs £4 (students) and £6 (non-students), there are also deals and discounts available. eg. monthly , bulk, etc.
Q: Can I watch a class?
A: Yes, You are more than welcome to go to any of our classes to see if you will like it or not. You don't have to pay anything for it.
Q: Since when is there a group Senzala in Scotland?
A: Our group here started in 2000.
Q: I've never done any martial arts or gymnastics. Can I do capoeira?
A: Capoeira is for all types of people. Everybody brings in different skills and backgrounds, but you don't need to be in great shape to try capoeira and you don't need any particular skills. Capoeira is for everyone.
Q: Am I too old/young to play capoeira?
A: No. We teach classes from kids until Adults.
Q: Do I have to bring any special shoes or clothes?
A: You can train simply with a t-shirt, sport loose trousers and trainers. Some students play capoeira bare foot (it is totally up to you). We have uniform available for purchase.
Q: How many classes can I do a week?
A: As many as you can. We have lots of classes every week, in between Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee and St. Andrew's.
